The Steiner Brothers dominated the world of tag team wrestling during the late eighties and early nineties. Scott and Rick Steiner captured tag team titles around the globe as well. It appears that their relationship with WWE has reached a new high.

According to PW Insider, WWE has signed The Steiner Brothers to a Legends Contract. For those wondering, the deal allows signatories some leeway in other venues. WWE Hall of Famers such as The Undertaker and Mick Foley are all signed to a legends deal.

The Steiner Brothers defected to WWE from WCW in 1992. The duo debuted as babyfaces on the December 21, 1992, edition of WWF Prime Time Wrestling. Scott and Rick Steiner feuded with The Headshrinkers and Money Inc. during their WWE days.

The team would split in WCW during their height of Monday Night Wars. The would briefly unite in New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2002. Scott Steiner would return to WWE the same year as well.
