John Cena Is Pumped About Getting Cover Superstar Spot For WWE 2K23

The Face that ran the Place for nearly 15 years has become the official face of WWE’s upcoming video game. The Franchise Player, John Cena was revealed to be the cover star of the next video game in the WWE 2K series, WWE 2K23 with its new commercial. With Cena being on the cover, it has got the fans thrilled, and now the 16-time World champion decided to respond to it.

John Cena debuted in WWE back in 2002, emerging as a rookie to answer Kurt Angle’s Open challenge. Despite coming up short, his performance was applauded by the fans and superstars backstage.

John Cena then went on to adopt his popular ‘rapper’ gimmick and introduce the world to his Basic Thuganomics between 2003 and 2005. This led him to him being viewed as a rising star, winning championships, battling top stars, and winning his first major World Championship at WrestleMania 21.

The Cenation Leader never looked back after and went on to become the face of WWE with in-ring acumen and larger than life persona. John Cena became the flagship star of his generation for the next decade and a half and one of the greatest WWE superstars in history.

John Cena is currently reigning as an A-List star in Hollywood but likes to step back into the world of professional wrestling with sporadic appearances and most recently being featured in a WWE 2K commercial after being revealed as the cover star of WWE 2K23. The Champ responded to the announcement on Twitter expressing his gratitude for this honor.

Despite his busy Hollywood schedule, John Cena is heavily rumored to compete at WrestleMania 39. There was rumor going around that Cena might face Logan Paul. As Ringside News exclusively reported, Logan Paul was in the conversation for WrestleMania, but no report so far has gotten his opponent correct.
