WWE may have one of the most stacked rosters in the business today, but that doesn’t mean the company will ever stop searching for new superstars and future main eventers. The company has a state-of-the-art training facility, called the Performance Center, in Orlando for new recruits to hone their craft.

The Stamford-based promotion selects future superstars via tryouts. WWE also has a “Next In Line” program in place for college athletes wanting to pursue career in professional wrestling. The company last held the tryouts in December. Former Impact Wrestling star Kylie Rae and KC Navarro were among those who attended the tryouts.

Speaking of Navarro, the indie sensation is still very much a free agent as confirmed by Sean Sapp from behind Fightful’s paywall. The real-life Christian Michael Navarro has been active in the business since 2015. He has made appearances for Impact Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, as well as AEW.

For those asking about the contract status of KC Navarro, we’ve confirmed that he is still a free agent. Navarro had a WWE tryout in December with veterans such as Kylie Rae, Vincent and Dutch.

As previously reported, Kylie Rae appeared on WWE Main Event after the tryout in December but didn’t sign contract with the company. Kylie squared off against Dana Brooke under the ring name Briana Ray on the December 12, 2022, taping of WWE Main Event.

It remains to be seen whether or not KC Navarro will join WWE in the foreseeable future. For now, he seems to be focused on the independent circuit. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more.
