Former WWE Superstar Officially Signs With Impact Wrestling

Impact Wrestling always has their eye out for talent that can benefit their company. Now they have added another name that fans of WWE should know well.

Santino Marella made name for himself in WWE during the late 2000s to early 2010s, where he was largely booked as a comedic character. Marella took little time to get over, thanks to his ridiculous Italian accent, his unibrow and perfect comedic timing. He eventually left WWE and is now a part of Impact Wrestling. In fact, the company officially announced his signing recently.

Following his WWE release, Santino Marella largely competed in the independent circuit. However, his time as an in-ring competitor is done as he is focused on other projects now.

During Impact Wrestling’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view, Santino Marella made his shocking appearance at the event, as he confronted Moose after the former Impact World Champion used unfair means to beat Impact Digital Media Champion Joe Hendry.

Santino Marella revealed himself as the new Director of Authority and restarted the match, which helped Hendry pick up the win. Impact Wrestling took to its Instagram and officially announced Marella’s signing. He is now officially with the company.

We will have to wait and see how Santino Marella fares as the new Director of Authority in Impact Wrestling. Nonetheless, fans are certainly glad to see Marella in a pro wrestling company again.
