WWE Superstars have a lot of opportunities to branch out and try their hands in other mediums. For a while, fans really enjoyed the New Day’s “Feel The Power” podcast, but those days seem to be over for now.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that there were a few reasons why the New Day’s podcast was nixed. Big E’s neck injury had a lot to do with it, but Xavier Woods’ schedule with G4, before the network was shut down, also played into things.

Regarding the New Day podcast being discontinued, the podcast was taped in arenas and hotels when the three were together on the road. Big E got moved away from the other two and Woods got busy with his G-4 show. Some of the producers were let go during the cutbacks and that’s the reason no more podcasts and no more shows like WWE 24 and WWE 360 and WWF Chronicles

The New Day’s podcast was a hit with their fans, so it was immediately noticed when the show stopped. Obviously, the New Day has gone through numerous changes through the year in terms of their current situations, but the three remain very close friends. So, a return to the podcast isn’t an impossible notion.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
