Maria Kanellis is known to be front-runner in working toward the betterment of women’s wrestling. The world-class traveled athlete made a name for herself in WWE at a time when there were no major opportunities for female superstars. However, it looks like she is hopeful to return to the global juggernaut one day.

Maria Kanellis is among the few female wrestling stars to compete in every top promotion in the United States. She has been a part of companies like WWE, ROH, IMPACT, and her current home, All Elite Wrestling. Moreover, she is also actively pursuing outside ventures and giving ample time to her family as well.

The former WWE Diva Search contestant recently posted on Twitter, reflecting on his current stay in AEW. Maria Kanellis noted that she is very happy being in AEW at the moment, but Maria is leaving the door open for a possible return to WWE someday.

“I’m happy where I am and I’m excited for the future in @AEW . The door is not closed for @wwe someday but for now, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be in @AEW.”
