WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is certainly one of the best pro wrestlers to have ever been a part of the professional wrestling world. The success he saw during his rookie year in WWE is still without equal. That being said, despite all of his accomplishments, Angle still regrets not being able to win a Royal Rumble match.

The Olympic Gold Medallist earned numerous accolades throughout his career, including becoming a multi-time World Champion. Angle has also faced many legendary pro wrestlers in his career.

While speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Kurt Angle talked about his accomplishments in WWE. While doing so, Angle admitted that he regretted never winning the Royal Rumble match.

“You know what, one thing that got away from me. I would’ve loved to win the Royal Rumble, and go to WrestleMania and main event as most likely the babyface, because that’s who usually wins the Royal Rumble. That would’ve been a lot of fun for me.”

Kurt Angle has competed in five Royal Rumble matches and was close to winning two of them – the 2002 and 2004 Royal Rumble. Kurt Angle is also almost fully recovered after his double knee surgery. Regardless, Angle is enjoying his life after retirement and that’s all that matters.
