Kevin Owens Needed Stitches After WWE SmackDown

Kevin Owens has always managed to stay relevant in WWE no matter what storyline was presented to him. That is exactly why the company fully trusts him to get the job done no matter what. Owens was also at the receiving of a brutal shot by Roman Reigns on SmackDown this week, which many believe was a long time coming. It seems he needed stitches after Reigns hit him.

As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Kevin Owens and John Cena squared off against Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. Kevin Owens was busted open during the match, which was after Roman Reigns hit him with very stiff clothesline as a receipt for Owens’ slap at WWE Survivor Series WarGames.

According to Fightful’s paywall, Kevin Owens required stitches following this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown after taking a clothesline from Reigns at the start of the match.

That being said, Kevin Owens and John Cena won the match. In fact, Owens ended up making history after the match. It remains to be seen what 2023 has in store for The Prizefighter.
