You never know what can happen in the ring. Injuries can spring up when you least expect him. Sadly, AJ Styles is dealing with a situation like that after a recent injury at WWE live event.

Dave Meltzer opened up about AJ Styles a bit on Wrestling Observer Radio. It isn’t clear exactly how bad AJ Styles’ injury is, but his ankle took a brunt of the situation.

It happened in Hershey last night, and no update, as far as severity, we’ll probably know in the next couple of days. They changed the finish, you know, he was supposed to win with the Phenomenal Forearm on, I believe it was AJ and Gallows or Anderson and Mia Yim and Rhea Ripley and Priest and Balor. And it was supposed to be a forearm on Balor to win the match, and then Anderson cradled him to win the match, because AJ couldn’t do the forearm.

I don’t know exactly what happened, I didn’t see it, obviously, but I was told it was a fall out of the ring, and he needed to be helped to the back.

We don’t know much more on AJ Styles’ current injury status. If anything, this is not the kind of event he wanted to end 2022 with at all. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more updates as soon as the news is made known.
