Don West made a name for himself as part of the commentary team in TNA, alongside Mike Tenay. The two had incredible chemistry and fans couldn’t get enough of what Don West had to say. For a long time now, Don West had been battling cancer and fans simply prayed for his betterment. Unfortunately, we have very news to share as Don West has passed away at the age of 59.

Don West had announced back in June of last year that he was diagnosed with cancer. He eventually shared positive news about his recovery and even had GoFundMe launched to help him against his battle with brain lymphoma.

Don West’s longtime partner Mike Tenay took to Twitter and officially broke the news that Don West has passed away. West’s wife had relayed the unfortunate news to Tenay.

Just heard from wife Terri that our brother@DonWestDeals will be spending New Years in heaven. Terri said D-Dub finally had to tap out from his match with lymphoma. We bonded as soon as we met, both as broadcast partners and friends. Years of great moments both on and off camera
