Kairi Sane was one of the best female pro wrestlers that WWE had at one point in time. She had a solid run in NXT, where she ended up winning the NXT Women’s Championship. She eventually parted ways with WWE and is now a staple of NJPW and STARDOM. It seems WWE hasn’t contacted Kairi Sane regarding a return at the Royal Rumble.

KAIRI Sane parted ways with WWE’s weekly television programs and moved back to Japan. She also earned her degree while there, and she got married. All the while, she maintained an ambassador gig with WWE. Many believed her contract with WWE expired, and that was the case as her contract ran out earlier this year.

KAIRI then made her way to STARDOM and has been a regular feature since then. Fans have been wondering whether Kairi will make her return to WWE.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that WWE has not contacted NJPW to appear at the Royal Rumble next year.

Regarding rumors of Kairi Sane returning for the Royal Rumble, what we do know is that as of this past weekend, there has been no contact from WWE to Stardom (Kairi is under contract to them now as IWGP women’s champion) asking for her. That could come later as WWE puts together that match and needs 30 women, but there is the obvious politics. Of course there was that same politics of using Mickie James from Impact last year and WWE did call later and put that deal together.

We will have to wait and see whether Kairi Sane will make her return to WWE television next year. After all, fans would love to see her in the ring in WWE again.
