Tony Khan has brought revolution in the wrestling business with the formation of his promotion, All Elite Wrestling, in 2019. Khan has done brilliantly in making AEW a direct competitor to WWE with the addition of various top-tier talent from across the world. However, it seems that one star might not be joining him anytime soon, and that is Reby Hardy.

Reby Hardy made her professional wrestling debut in 2011 at a Lucha Libre USA show and has competed in various promotions such as TNA and Shine Wrestling until 2017 with her final program coming alongside her husband Matt and his brother Jeff against Decay and their valet, Rosemary.

Matt Hardy has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since March 2020 and was partnered on-screen with Jeff Hardy earlier in the year. The addition of Reby Sky to the team in AEW could be an exciting move, however, she recently revealed that a full-fledged run in AEW seems unlikely in an exclusive interview with PW Mania.

“Just a couple weeks ago, I did a show and it was my literal first time in a public ring in over five years. Versus Jeff Jarrett there, I was managing Matt. There was [sic] some talks of possibly doing some sort of intergender tag match with his girl and me and Matt, but, I wouldn’t go that crazy.”

Reby Hardy further added, although she is a full-time mother, there could be a possibility to show up in AEW in the future.

“But I would say: never say never. I feel like my place in wrestling is more behind the scenes. I got the four kids, I homeschool the four kids, I have a legitimate day job, I’ve got my content creation, it’s a lot going on. And wrestling is sort of an afterthought nowadays.”

Matt Hardy and Reby Sky worked closely in IMPACT Wrestling together from 2014 to 2017. The couple married in 2013 and together have four children, three sons, and one daughter.
