Charlotte Flair Was ‘Torn’ Working Alongside Ric Flair In WWE

Charlotte Flair is a WWE superstar with ton of accolades behind her. She changed the way WWE does things in the business with her aptitude and appearance on screen. WWE has pitched her as the daughter of Ric Flair.

WWE was happy to push this storyline, but it looks like Charlotte Flair didn’t like the idea, as she felt shadowed by her father in some or the other way. Flair appeared in NXT before making it to the main roster.

On the latest episode of “Oh…You Didn’t Know,” Road Dogg talked about the situation and what he feels would have been the reason why Charlotte Flair felt that way.

You know, I think she was torn, and I don’t think she showed it a lot. But I think she was torn as, this is my time, and this is the prime time of my career. And here I am, in his shadow again, you know what I mean?

Or I can understand her thinking that, because I relate and that maybe insecurities talking, but maybe I just I just feel like I felt at times, I wish I could just do this on my own. You know what mean? I think it is too, no matter whose father, brother, sister, whatever, like, man, I love teaming with you. But God, I’d love to get out on my own. You know, just and then the band breaks up.

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was used in various storylines involving Charlotte Flair. She was also involved in a storyline where Ric was alongside Lacey Evans. The story was dropped due to Lacey’s real-life pregnancy.

Charlotte Flair has been out of action and fans await her return to the main roster. It will be interesting to see when she makes her return, or if she will be out of the shows until Royal Rumble.
