Batista is reigning as one of the top stars in Hollywood, becoming yet another name from the wrestling business to succeed in the world of films, joining the likes of The Rock and John Cena. Recently, he recreated a nostalgic act on the set of his film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’ with a special gift for his director.

Batista started his career in WWE in 2002, among the elite class of prospects such as Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, and John Cena. After his stint as the muscle of the group ‘Evolution’, Batista branched out to become a singles star, emerging as one of the marquee attractions of the modern era.

The Animal took his final bow inside the squared circle at WrestleMania 35, after losing a match to Triple H and announcing his retirement from wrestling. Batista recently took a trip back in time by posting a video on Instagram, entering the sets of his Netflix film, Glass Onion as his old WWE theme song played in the back and presented the director Rian Johnson with the classic Big Gold championship belt.

“Thank you to the cast, crew and to everyone that watches #GlassOnion @KnivesOut @Netflix …never forget how it started @WWE #Batista #TheAnimal #ProudRoots #WWE.”

Batista stars as Duke Cody, a Twitch streamer and Men’s activist in the film, being a sequel to the 2019 film Knives Out. The film was released theatrically for a limited time period and began streaming on Netflix starting on December 23rd.
