Josh Alexander was betrayed by Jason Hotch and John Skyler, who tied the Impact World Champion to the ring ropes for Bully Ray. Tommy Dreamer arrived to save The Walking Weapon, only to get assaulted by Bully Ray.

Josh Alexander witnessed the beatdown and asked Scott D’Amore to add Full Metal Mayhem stipulation to his world title defense against Bully Ray at Hard to Kill on January 13, 2023.
