Sasha Banks hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since May 2022, when she and her tag partner Naomi left the arena as RAW started. The duo was unhappy with their booking as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. As previously reported, Sasha Banks and WWE have agreed that she will not wrestle again until 2023 as part of her release.

The former WWE Women’s Champion will return to Japan following reports of an appearance at Wrestle Kingdom 17. Following the initial report, it has since been confirmed that she has verbally agreed to a new deal with NJPW. Sawa recently tweeted that Sasha will be in Japan from the middle of this week, encouraging Japanese brands to contact them about potential collaborations.

Sasha Banks, a female top wrestler who has surpassed 5.6 million Instagram followers and is active in the American professional wrestling organization WWE, will be staying in Japan from the middle of this week.

Hope to collaborate with Japanese brands. If you are interested in brands or agencies, how about MTG including her on the night of 12/21 (Wednesday) or 12/23 (Friday)? I’ll be waiting
