Randy Orton is one of the greatest in-ring performer WWE has ever produced. Right from his developmental days, Orton was hailed as the future of the industry. He had everything you could hope for in a WWE superstar – looks, charisma, personality, and talent. However, Orton wasn’t the easiest to handle backstage and was always upto his own tricks.

There are numerous stories surrounding Randy Orton and his antics from back in the day. One such story took place during one of the early meetings between Orton and Cody Rhodes. The story took place during WWE’s tour of South Africa after Cody had just gotten called up from developmental.

“The first time I saw Randy, we were in Cape Town, South Africa, at the TV hotel for that tour. I walk by the men’s bathroom, and he had his hands around the urinal. He goes, ‘Hey Code, look at this.’ And he yanked the entire urinal out of the wall.”

Cody Rhodes then continued to say that it was what Orton did at the talent meeting had caused him to crack.

“[We] had this big talent meeting the next day. ‘Hey, there were security cameras, guys. We want to know who did it.’ [Randy] walked up in front of everybody and said, ‘Hey! I want to know who did it!'”

Rhodes continued to credit Randy Orton for being a great teacher during this time before saying that he still tries to bring out that side of Orton.

“I was told that Randy is a family man, and doesn’t get in trouble, and I won’t have it. I’m going to try to set some traps, some things to see if I can get him back. Because that was important — Randy freaking out was a big part of my life. … I need him there, and I don’t think I’m going to get him there, but I’m going to try.”

Randy Orton has clearly matured with time and has changed how to behaves around others. However, it wouldn’t be so bad for The Viper to let loose every once in a while. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more coverage of such stories.
