Xia Li Reacts To WWE SmackDown Return

Xia Li made headlines after being the first Chinese talent to join WWE a few years ago. After working in NXT, Li finally debuted on a previous episode of Friday Night Smackdown last year. After that, Xia Li only made her in-ring debut back in February and was then gone for a long time. Following an injury, Xia Li came back on this week’s Smackdown, and now she has finally reacted to her return.

Xia Li would then become a heel back in April but nothing much was done with her after that. She also suffered an injury back in June after her match against Lacey Evans.

As seen on this week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, a mystery attacker cost Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox the Women’s Tag Team Championship match against Dakota Kai and IYO Sky tonight on SmackDown.

The attacker turned out to be Xia Li, who met with Adam Pearce backstage. Xia Li took to Twitter and reacted to her return by simply admitting that she was the attacker.

Yeah. It’s me.

It remains to be seen if Xia Li will become a member of Damage CTRL, or whether she just has a personal beef with Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox. Fans are intrigued by what WWE will plan for Xia Li in the coming weeks.
