Tay Melo Calls Out AEW Over Botching Sammy Guevara’s Stats

Sammy Guevara became one of the most beloved stars in AEW, mainly thanks to his solid in-ring prowess. However, none of that matters anymore due to his relationship with Tay Conti. Guevara has been involved in major matches and will even face Jon Moxley soon. Now it seems Tay Melo decided to call out AEW for a huge both concerning Sammy Guevara’s match with Jon Moxley.

AEW President Tony Khan previously admitted that fan reaction to Sammy and Tay is unlike something he has seen before. In fact, Khan further realized that he misread the fan reaction to Guevara and Conti.

For the past few months, Guevara and Melo became involved with The Jericho Appreciation Society. In fact, the faction has been feuding with The Blackpool Combat Club for a while now.

Guevara is also a multi-time TNT Champion, but AEW seemed to have made a blunder about his reigns. AEW billed Guevara as 3-time TNT Champion in his match announcement against Jon Moxley for Rampage this week. Tay Melo took to Twitter and called out AEW for the botch, revealing that Guevara is a 4-time TNT Champion.

We will have to wait and see how The Spanish God will fare against The Purveyor of Violence. One thing is for sure, Sammy Guevara’s wife will be by his side for the match. Fans now wonder whether AEW will have anything major planned for Guevara in the future.
