Saraya Addresses Rumors That Sasha Banks Will Be Her Tag Team Partner In AEW

Ever since her return to wrestling, Saraya has been embroiled in heated rivalry with Dr. Britt Baker. The two women even wrestled with each other at AEW Full Gear. While it looked like that might end their rivalry, their feud has only intensified. That got the rumor mill churning as well.

A couple of weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, Britt Baker asked Saraya to find a mystery partner as she challenged her to a tag team match on the January 11th episode of AEW Dynamite. Since then, fans have been speculating with regard to whom this mystery partner could be.

Since news broke that Sasha Banks will be at Wrestle Kingdom, fans have speculated that the Boss could make a stop in AEW on her way to NJPW. During a recent interview with Forbes, Saraya addressed the speculation.

“I feel like anytime there’s a mystery, everyone always goes straight for Mercedes (Sasha Banks). They’re like—straight away—it’s her! There’s plenty of women out there, I’m not going to say yes or no to anybody, but there’s a lot of exciting prospects for a potential tag partner.

I’ve always said that I would want to work with Sasha again in any capacity, because she’s a pro. In the wrestling side of things, she’s such a fantastic athlete, you can’t deny her talent. She’s fantastic,” said Saraya.

As Saraya said, there are lots of women who could team with her beside Sasha Banks. However, we will have to wait till January 11 to find out who will team with Saraya against Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we keep you updated on this story.
