Charlotte Flair is one of the most talented in-ring performers of this generation. The Queen has proved her supremacy with her in-ring acumen and stellar performances. Charlotte has been absent from WWE television programming for quite a while now, with a new report indicating that WWE is working on her big return and the same was also discussed before a recent pay-per-view.

Charlotte Flair was the reigning SmackDown Women’s champion during her last run. She made a successful title defense against Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 38, however, The Queen lost her gold to Rousey at the following pay-per-view, WrestleMania Backlash in a grueling “I Quit match.”

The 14-time World champion has been off WWE television programming, citing personal reasons for her extended absence. It has now been confirmed by Ringside News’s Steve Carrier on Twitter that WWE is actively working on Charlotte Flair’s return and they have been discussing the return before WWE Survivor Series.

“Can independently confirm that reports of WWE working on #CharlotteFlair’s return are accurate. In fact, #WWE were already talking about her return for prior to #WWE #SurvivorSeries #WarGames.”

Charlotte Flair was rumored to come back as the fifth member of Bianca Belair’s team for the Women’s War Games match at Survivor Series. However, that spot was filled by the returning Becky Lynch. It seems like the next logical place for Flair’s return could be at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view as a surprise entrant in the namesake match.
