There is one superstar that personifies ‘in-ring dominance’ in WWE’s women’s division, Ronda Rousey. Whether it is the octagon or the square circle, Ronda Rousey has proven her supremacy in every ring. However, there has been a call for the Baddest Woman on the Planet to be released recently, with the trend going strong for three weeks straight.

Ronda Rousey made her WWE comeback earlier this year as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match. Since then, Ronda has established her dominance in the ring, putting down various opponents such as Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan in her path and reigning as a two-time SmackDown Women’s champion.

Ronda Rousey defended her title against the upstart, Shotzi, a few weeks ago at WWE Survivor Series. The match saw a spot, where Ronda was supposed to let go of the ropes and take a bump on the outside, however it was Shotzi who went tumbling to the ground while Ronda stayed on the ring apron. This rough spot led to #FireRondaRousey trending on Twitter and is still going strong for the third straight week, indicating that the fans want to see the Rowdy One get fired from WWE.

Ronda Rousey has responded to the trend a few days ago, stating that she was concerned for Shotzi’s health when it happened and defended herself, claiming that such spots happen unexpectedly and people should not call for superstars to get fired for such incidents. Let’s see for how long the fans can continue to keep this trend viral and if it could lead to some serious action against The Rowdy One.
