Becky Lynch is certainly one of the most recognizable names in the modern professional wrestling world. She was on the shelf for four months due to an unfortunate injury, but made a very triumphant return last month. However, it seems she had a lot of apprehension before she returned to WWE.

Big Time Becks suffered a dislocated shoulder injury during WWE SummerSlam back in July. Following that, Lynch was out of action because of that injury for four months. She finally made her return just before Survivor Series WarGames.

While speaking during a Q&A with Matthew Connell for Alternative Sport, Lynch reflected on her year and was asked if she had a message for her fans. Lynch then revealed that she had a lot of apprehension before she returned to WWE.

“I think 2022 was full of ups and downs. The downs obviously being taken out for the first time with an injury for a prolonged period of time. That did have an effect on my mentality. Coming back there was so much apprehension, and the fans greeted me with such open arms and reminded me that there’s nothing like this. That putting your body on the line for their entertainment is such a privilege and it is so worth it. So a big giant thank you to the fans for letting me entertain them and I can’t wait to do so much more in 2023.”

Becky Lynch’s shoulder also isn’t feeling ‘right.’ In the meantime, Lynch will be feuding with Damage CTRL on Monday Night RAW. We’ll have to see how the storyline will carry on in the coming weeks.
