AEW President Tony Khan truly loves professional wrestling, which is why he decided to purchase Ring Of Honor earlier this year, saving the company from ruin. Be that as it may, Khan has not been using ROH talent the best way he could have so far.

Following his acquisition, Tony Khan has largely produced two Ring Of Honor pay-per-views and has brought in a few notable ROH talent on AEW television. However, only Chris Jericho has been used prominently every week as the ROH World Champion.

While speaking on the Battlegrounds podcast, Tony Khan talked about barely using any ROH talent on AEW Dynamite and explained why he went with this decision. He then noted that Chris Jericho is the only talent who needs to appear every week on Dynamite to represent ROH.

One thing I’ve tried to do — I think we only have three hours of AEW TV a week — so I’ve tried to limit the Ring of Honor focus on ‘Dynamite’ to the Ring of Jericho. I saw somebody saying they thought there was too much Ring of Honor on ‘Dynamite’ and I thought that was amusing, because there’s almost no Ring of Honor on ‘Dynamite’ in recent weeks except Chris Jericho and frankly Chris Jericho should be on any wrestling show in the world he wants to be on.

Chris Jericho is set to defend his ROH World Championship against Claudio Castagnoli at ROH Final Battle on December 10th. We will have to wait and see whether Jericho will be able to successfully retain his title.
