Scott Hall was one of the best big men in the world of professional wrestling back in the ’90s. Despite his massive frame, Scott Hall was able to hang with the smaller guys and proved to be quite agile in the ring. His iconic ladder match against Shawn Michaels is talked about to this day.

During his tenure, he held many Championships. However, there was one title that always eluded him – the WCW World Championship. Eric Bischoff who was the president of WCW at the time gave his reason as to why Scott Hall was never World Champion.

During a recent episode of his 83 weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff was asked during a Q&A session why Scott Hall was never WCW Champion. He was very short and sweet with his answer, because The Bad Guy didn’t need the title to be that great.

“Because he didn’t need to be.”

Scott Hall is considered one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions of all time. It is sad that he never got one run with the World Title because he would’ve been a great heel champion. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more news.
