Adam Page suffered a concussion during his world title match with Jon Moxley during a previous episode of AEW Dynamite, and that forced him to miss several weeks of action. Tonight, he made his return to the promotion.

Adam Page made his surprise return to AEW during the opening segment, also involving Jon Moxley this week. Mox was in the middle of his promo when the Hangman’s music blasted through the arena speakers.
Page arrived in the ring and came face-to-face with the man who inadvertently cost him several weeks of in-ring action. Mox brought up Paige’s concussion and the two engaged in a brawl.
Officials arrived and tried to separate the two, who took the fight outside the ring. Paige and Moxley continued to brawl all the way to the ramp. At one point during the physical confrontation, Mox tripped.
