The Bloodline faced off against The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens in the Men’s WarGames match. When all was said and done, Roman Reigns’ team stood tall. An argument took place between Reigns and Owens after the match, but it seems things between them are good now.

As previously reported, Roman Reigns was heated following the big WarGames match. This was due to Reigns getting hurt from an unplanned spot made by Kevin Owens.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer daily update, it was noted that Reigns was upset after a slap from Owens during the match, with noticeable bruising under his left eye.

Despite the spot, it was reported that while Reigns was upset in the beginning, “20 minutes later it had all blown over so there is no lingering issue regarding it.” Thus, there is no ill will between the two stars.

“Regarding the report on what happened backstage with Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens. The story is accurate in the sense Reigns got upset after being popped, and had noticeable bruising under his left eye. There was talk of a possible broken eardrum but that was not confirmed to us. What is confirmed is that it came from a slap by Owens, Reigns was upset, but 20 minutes later it had all blown over so there is no lingering issue regarding it.”

WWE is still nailing down plans for Roman Reigns’ next opponent. We will have to wait and see what WWE has planned for Roman Reigns, now that things between the two are good.
