Chris Jericho successfully defended his Ring of Honor World Championship at Dynamite’s Thanksgiving Eve edition. In what turned out to be a very physical match, he put his title on the line against NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii. The moment when the two guys exchanged chops in the middle of the ring was undoubtedly the most memorable part of the match.

Ishii’s strikes were so lethal that they left Jericho’s chest bleeding, something not many fans had seen before. On social media, fans and critics had mixed reactions to the sequence. However, Chris is still confident in his abilities, as shown by his response to Manny TheHooper’s tweet.

“‘Both men were about their business & ready to kick ass. Ishii was in his G1 MVP bag, he came out like a ball of fury & it was a spectacle to watch Jericho try to keep up with him.’ Chris Jericho: The Man That Stole Thanksgiving Eve,” the tweet read. Chris Jericho responded to the post on Twitter, expressing his frustration at those who felt he shouldn’t be taking such risks.

I love when the “experts” say “Jericho doesn’t have to do this or take this kind of punishment at this point…”. Just shows that You know nothing about me. Because the true answer is, YES I do have to do this! Because I’m Chris Jericho… and I won’t ever give less than 10000%.
