Booker T Announces Return To In-Ring Action

Booker T is one of the most celebrated wrestlers in WWE history. The 5-time WCW champion made a name for himself in WCW before transitioning to WWE after his former company went bankrupt. Booker T took a break from the ring and shifted to color commentary on WWE NXT. Fans would be pleased to know that he’s making a return to the ring once again.

Alongside color commentary for WWE’s NXT brand, Booker is also responsible for managing things at Reality of Wrestling. December 18th will see Booker T wrestle for his Reality of Wrestling promotion. While partnering up with Mysterious Q, Booker T will take on Warren Johnson and Zack Mason for the ROW Tag Team Championships.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T appeared on ESPN 97.5 Houston where he made the announcement for his next upcoming match. This match will Booker T’s second performance in the ring this year.

Booker T announced tonight on @espn975 on Sunday, Dec 18th he’s stepping back inside the ring to team with @Da_Mysterious_Q to take on @FlyBroWarrenJ & @TheZack_Zilla #CCXVII

While Booker T is away to fight at ROW, Wade Barrett would be taking over his responsibilities at WWE NXT. We’ll just have to see if Booker T finds his way into a spot in the Royal Rumble, because that would certainly excite fans. For more updates, stay tuned to Ringside News.
