Alex Riley started his career as part of WWE’s developmental brand NXT where he was mentored by The Miz. His tenure under Miz got him over with the fans quickly and he was expected to be pushed. However. his push came to a screeching halt and he was relegated to a commentary role.

A-Rye served as a color commentator for Superstars and Main Event before becoming a commentator for NXT. During his second tenure with NXT, Alex Riley returned to the ring and wrestled some notable names such as Tye Dillinger and Apollo Crews. He wrestled his last match for the company against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Since his WWE departure, Alex Riley has maintained a quiet life and hasn’t wrestled. However, that is about to change as Alex Riley is set to return to the ring on December 8 at Holiday Toy Drive to team with Tyrus against VBU.
