CM Punk went on a scathing rant on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, and The Young Bucks during the AEW All Out press conference. He eviscerated Colt Cabana in particular, as he questioned his status as a man, among other things. Colt Cabana’s podcast took a break after that, and now he is speaking out on that situation.

While speaking on the latest edition of The Art of Wrestling podcast, Colt Cabana talked about his decision to take a brief hiatus from his podcast. Cabana made it clear that the hiatus had nothing to do with the AEW All Out scrum.

I didn’t delay it because the company that I worked for told me not to talk about anything, or what I could or could not do. I like to put out shows occasionally spotlighting my friends or people that I find super interesting. And from the beginning, I was so open – maybe even to a fault – about dealing with losing my dream job of the WWE, or fighting to be an independent wrestler, or how to make money in wrestling, or how to survive a lot of things.

Colt Cabana even appeared on an episode of AEW Dynamite earlier this month, where he squared off against Chris Jericho for the ROH World Champion. Cabana lost in the match where he almost died as well.

AEW also ended up making the CM Punk situation worse with Colt Cabana’s appearance. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Cabana will return to AEW television somewhere down the line or not. The odds are much greater that fans will see Cabana on Tony Khan’s television show before CM Punk at this rate.
