Juventud Guerrera is a veteran in the pro wrestling world who tore up the scenes during the heydays of WCW. He was also one of the labors for Chris Jericho before Jericho could face off against MJF back in 2021. AEW had huge plans for The Juice, but they never happened due to injury.

Guerrera’s match against Chris Jericho received a lot of praise, as both competitors gave it their all in order to come out on top. In fact, the match might not have even happened at all, as travel problems made him almost miss the match.

However, Guerrera wasn’t seen on AEW television after that match. While speaking during a Highspots virtual signing, Guerrera revealed that AEW had plans to use him more, but they were nixed after he got injured.

That was great actually (experience with AEW). That was tremendous… It was great… And then after two months, we were talking to do more but then, I got hurt. But yeah, now I’m good.

Guerrera was recently spotted training with Sasha Banks as well. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Guerrera will make his return to AEW television somewhere down the line or not.
