Sami Zayn Rips ‘Old Veterans’ Who Treated Fans Poorly

Sami Zayn has excelled at everything he was handed in WWE for well over 8 years now and has earned the love and respect of fans and peers alike. Prior to WWE, he made a name for himself as El Generico in ROH and is truly an established veteran. Due to this, he is aware of how some veterans treated fans and blasted them for the same.

For many fans, Sami Zayn’s ‘current ‘Honorary Uce’ character is the best thing that WWE has right now. In fact, this is exactly what Jim Cornette feels as well, which also managed to shock Sami Zayn for a good reason.

While speaking with Metro.co.uk, Sami Zayn talked about the time he used to work in NXT and noticed how some old veterans treated fans poorly. Zayn ripped those veterans and made it clear that he will never be like them.

“When I started going on the road with WWE coming out of NXT and all that stuff, I used to see some of the grumpy veterans and they would treat the fans, sometimes, really poorly. Not all of them, some of them were great. I remember thinking, man, I don’t ever wanna be like that! I don’t ever wanna take these fans for granted and be like that!”

Sami Zayn will be competing as part of The Bloodline as they take part in a WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series on November 26th. We’ll have to see whether Sami Zayn will get to shine in the match or not.
