Dustin Rhodes is a true veteran in pro wrestling, whose career spans many decades, as he has competed in many companies over the years. Rhodes is best known for breaking barriers with his Goldust character. In fact, Rhodes was afraid Vince McMahon was going to fire him for a bizarre reason.

Dustin Rhodes debuted as the Bizarre One back in 1995, and he truly cemented himself as one of the more unique characters in all of pro wrestling. Goldust was never afraid to push the envelope as well.

While speaking on Talk is Jericho, Dustin Rhodes recalled the time he squared off against Savio Vega during a WWE house show, where he got too handsy with Vega. Due to this, Rhodes was afraid that Vince McMahon was going to fire him.

“But I liked it when he [Vince] was on the road. It wasn’t a TV setting, right? It was just a house show. You’d show up and it was like he was at the curtain and I’m like Vince is here. What if I do this? Am I gonna get fired or whatever? And so he [Savio Vega] was like come on, let’s do this. And it was just a simple go behind him, rub up his chest and down his legs, kind of not grazing, as you know. And he turned around and charged me and they went nuts.

I’m like, we lock up and he takes me back at the corner. I’m like, What are we doing, man? And he said, to turn around, stick your a** in my c***ch and rub it back. And I did it. And he pushed me away. But I was really scared to do that. That was something that like was way out of my wheelhouse.”

Dustin Rhodes also doesn’t want to end up like Ric Flair in his retirement match. The Natural also took shot at Seth Rollins recently. We’ll have to see what he will do next in AEW, but his story isn’t finished in pro wrestling yet.
