WrestleMania 39 will be here before we know it as the company takes over SoFi Stadium on April 1st and 2nd. The company’s biggest show of the year is an “all hands on deck” situation, and Brock Lesnar is expected. That being said, the Beast Incarnate’s opponent is still a matter of discussion.

Brock Lesnar’s name has the tendency to churn the rumor mill. This instance is no different as we approach another road to WrestleMania. A couple big names are floating around regarding possibilities for Brock Lesnar, and most of those ideas would be exciting in their own way.

Ringside News asked around about the rumored Lesnar vs Gunther match that is making the rounds. We are told that this “is one of many options for WrestleMania.” In fact, “there are several options being discussed.”

That being said, a tenured member of the creative team cleared things up a bit for us. We were told that, “nothing has been pitched to Lesnar yet, so it’s all speculation and rumor because until it’s pitched to Lesnar, it’s just a discussion about what to pitch to Lesnar.”

Brock Lesnar’s creative process works differently within WWE, considering the amount of creative pull he has backstage. Lesnar also has the ability to nix a feud, just as he did in the past with Kevin Owens. We’ll have to see who Lesnar ends up working with at WrestleMania 39, but that person will need to pass a couple levels of approval before it is made official.

WWE has a ton of options as Triple H builds the first WrestleMania event on his own. Brock Lesnar will very likely be there, but the company isn’t far enough along to really start etching his plans in stone just yet.
