Toni Storm Says She Was Under A Lot Of Pressure In WWE NXT UK

Toni Storm had solid run on NXT and NXT UK, but the same can’t be said for her main roster run in WWE. Her feud with Charlotte Flair was more damaging than anything, but now she is happy in AEW. Despite it being better for her, she was still under a lot of pressure on NXT UK.

Storm faced numerous top talent during her time in NXT UK and even became the NXT UK Women’s Champion. She was booked very well as the champion and fans loved her there.

While speaking with The Ringer, Toni Storm talked about her time in NXT UK. Storm admitted that she was under quite a lot of pressure in the brand.

“It’s a lot of pressure, and that comes with being champion anywhere,” Storm stated. “It doesn’t matter what company you’re with. When you’re a champion, you’re the leader of the division, the company, and a lot is expected of you. A lot is asked of you. You’re the guy that everyone’s going to turn to, and you have to lead by example.”

Toni Storm also showed off her injured face following AEW Full Gear. We will have to wait and see when the Australian star will return to AEW television. Fans can’t wait for her to come back.
