Jon Moxley Accused Of Being A Mean Drunk

Jon Moxley’s body underwent a lot of wear and tear over the years of his competing in various violent matches. It led to him developing substance abuse issues, and he entered rehab for alcohol addiction. He seems much happier now, but there were dark days. In fact, he was accused of being an asshole when he’s drunk.

The Purveyor of Violence came back to AEW earlier this year after a few months away due to rehab. He certainly had a stellar run since then, as he went on to become the AEW World Champion once again.

While speaking on WrestleBinge, former AEW talent Tamilan Vineesh recalled the time QT Marshall warned him about Jon Moxley, by stating that Moxley is a very mean drunk.

“According to [QT Marshall] I overstayed my welcome in AEW. In fact, I remember him saying ‘Hey, Moxley is an asshole when he gets drunk’ and Moxley spoke to me for five minutes. It all sounds very bizarre, and I had enough. Professional wrestling is all I ever wanted.”

Jon Moxley lost the AEW World Championship to MJF at AEW Full Gear. We will have to wait and see whether Moxley will take a hiatus from the company or not. Hopefully, 2023 will be another great year for Moxley, both professionally and personally, because he has a legion of fans who want nothing but the best for him.
