Adam Cole had all the momentum in the world after debuting in AEW last year. Fans had a lot of expectations from him, but his run in AEW turned out to be very underwhelming for some. His injury status remains a concern, especially since it seems he suffered two concussions in a month.

Cole competed in a fatal four-way match for the IWGP World Heavyweight title at Forbidden Door, despite being injured before the match. The match led to him suffering a concussion as well, and he has yet to make his return to in-ring competition yet. He actually rushed back from a concussion, so he could wrestle in that match.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez talked about Adam Coe’s injury status. Alvarez revealed that Cole suffered two concussions within a month.

“One of the things in his case was he had gotten a concussion, and then he came back and immediately got another concussion, so the feeling was, ‘Well, let’s give him plenty of time this time so that when he comes back he doesn’t immediately get another concussion’.

“He came back, he was immediately hurt again, and the feeling was he clearly came back too early so after it happened a second time, it was like, ‘He’s gonna be out until he’s like 100%, and it could be a while’.”

Adam Cole’s condition has many concerned in AEW as well. Adam Cole may never wrestle again at this rate. Regardless, we will keep you updated on his status.
