All Out 2022 will forever be remembered for the chaos the ensued backstage after the pay-per-view event. The Elite returned to AEW following months of suspensions during Full Gear tonight. Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks squared off against Death Triangle (PAC and The Lucha Bros) for the World Trios Tag Team Championship. The challengers, however, failed to get the big win.

The win was controversial because Rey Fenix used a foreign object as Omega was about to plant him with a One-Winged Angel. Jim Ross, who was on commentary for the match, joked the two sides will settle the score behind closed doors; a subtle jab at The Elite’s backstage brawl with Punk and Steel.

“They are going to settle this behind closed doors in a locker room or somethin.”

The crowd voiced their disapproval of CM Punk during the match as well. It appears that the Second City Saint has completely burned his bridges with AEW. We’ll have to wait to see if the former AEW World Champion will return to the promotion.
