Matt Cardona Admits He & Chelsea Green Have Unfinished Business In WWE

Matt Cardona was part of the WWE family for over 14 years, where he was known as Zack Ryder, moniker he actively tried to get rid of. Unfortunately, his time in the company did not last forever. It has been more than two years since he and his wife Chelsea Green were let go by WWE. However, rumors of them returning continue to spread, and now even Cardona addressed those rumors.

Recently, rumors started doing the rounds that WWE was discussing bringing Green back to the company. Ringside News also exclusively reported that Matt Cardona is on WWE’s radar for return and Chelsea Green is heading back to WWE.

While speaking to WrestlingNews.co, Matt Cardona was asked about rumors of him returning to WWE alongside his wife Chelsea Green. Cardona addressed the rumors, but simply chose to let fans think what they want to.

“I’m the Internet Champion. Of course, I see what’s being talked about. Let the people talk. I’m a former tag team champion, former Intercontinental Champion, former United States champion. I do have some unfinished business. To quote Justin Bieber, never say never.”

Cardona recently mentioned that he would return to WWE if he got to keep his name. We will have to wait and see whether Cardona and Green end up returning to WWE or not. If anything, Triple H is likely not finished stacking the WWE roster in the way he envisions it.
