AEW Will Run Second Annual Owen Hart Tournament In 2023

Owen Hart was regarded as one of the best pro wrestlers to ever compete inside WWE ring. AEW partnered up with the Owen Hart Foundation to honor the legacy of the legendary wrestler. Tony Khan recently said that AEW will bring back the Owen Hart tournament in 2023.

As previously reported, the working relationship will include the annual Owen Hart Cup Tournament in AEW. The winner of the tournament will receive Cup known as “The Owen,” along with a snazzy title belt. During the AEW Full Gear media conference, Tony Khan revealed that the Owen Hart tournament will return in 2023.

Tony Khan also hinted at excellent tournaments for the Owen Hart Cup recently. AEW is looking forward to continuing the relationship with the family. It was said that the company worked on the Owen Hart deal for well over year.
