Ever since Triple H took charge of WWE Creative, the company has undergone some significant changes. This included The Game bringing WarGames matches to the main roster. They will be taking place soon and the company has now revealed the rules for the matches.
The company previously announced that this year’s Survivor Series Premium Live Event will feature the big main roster return of WarGames matches, one for men and one for women. With the teams taking shape, those Superstars now have rules to follow.
WWE took to their official Twitter account and unveiled the rules for the WarGames matches, which are the same as every other iteration of NXT. Longtime fans should remember these rules, but it’s nice that the company made things clear.
Two teams will be contained in separate cages with one member of each team starting the match.
After five minutes, a member from the advantaged team will be released to enter the match.
After a three-minute period, alternating members from each team will enter the match until all competitors are inside the cage.
Once all competitors have entered, WarGames officially begins.
The only way to win the match is by pinfall or submission.
WWE Survivor Series WarGames takes place on November 26th 2022 in Boston, Massachusetts. We will have to wait and see how the event will turn out, as fans are certainly excited about it.
