Kevin Owens has worked hard to make himself one of the top stars in all of WWE. His stock continues to rise even now, despite not being a champion for several years. He suffered an injury recently and is expected to be out of action for a while.

As previously reported, it was believed that Kevin Owens suffered an injury during the WWE Sunday Night Stunner house show in Madison, Wisconsin on November 13th.

It was then revealed that Kevin Owens suffered an MCL sprain. According to Sports Injury Physio, MCL sprains usually heal in about 4-6 weeks. However, severe tears to the ligament could lead to a recovery period of over 12 weeks.

If Kevin Owens can keep with this recovery timeline, then he should be back in plenty of time to make the Royal Rumble happen. This injury also came during a time when he wasn’t appearing on television. Ringside News exclusively reported that Owens’ television absence was not caused by Sami Zayn’s situation with the Bloodline at all.

We will have to wait and see how long Kevin Owens will be on the shelf. Regardless, it is certainly unfortunate that he will have to miss out on WWE Survivor Series.
