Saraya was forced to call it quits on her career in the squared circle due to injuries sustained while working in the ring. The former Paige spent the next few years in WWE in a variety of roles, but that was not a permanent thing. Saraya is now happy in AEW and even has a lot of interesting matches she wants to do.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya revealed that she has been medically cleared for in-ring action during her segment with Britt Baker. Naturally, fans were overjoyed with this news.

While speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Saraya talked about making her return to the squared circle. Saraya stated that she wants to do stipulation matches in the future.

“At first it’s more of a comeback story, an official comeback and being in a different mindset of what I felt like I should have done the first time I came back. There are plenty of women that I want to have matches with eventually. I do want to do the stipulation matches that I didn’t get to do in WWE that the girls get to do now. Also, working more character work, try and build … I’m not going to completely let go of Paige, but a more elevated version of her. There are so many things we can do now. We have such creative freedom.”

Seeing how Saraya has no shortage of fear in her, she will fit in with AEW. Tony Khan’s company is also not shy about booking women in gimmick matches, even involving blood, for their passionate fan base.

Saraya is set to square off against Britt Baker at AEW Full Gear on November 19th. We will have to wait and see whether she will end up winning her in-ring debut match or not.
