The November 7th edition of WWE Raw was filled with drama. The 24/7 Title being thrown into the trash garnered a lot of attention. However, many people are still talking about Asuka’s nearly one-minute Japanese promo battle with Damage CTRL’s IYO SKY. As seen on Twitter, the two engaged in a back-and-forth, furthering the feud for Survivor Series: WarGames.

The Japanese promo battle concluded when SKY called Asuka a “bitch,” prompting a collective “Ohh” from the crowd. Asuka, the Grand Slam Champion, has been known to post hilarious images and videos on Instagram. When SKY called her a bitch, the video cut to a quiet crowd from an episode of “SpongeBob SquarePants.”

Both SKY and Asuka are Japanese. However, none has done a lengthy promotion in Japanese, making this unique. In response to the promo exchange, KAIRI, a former co-holder of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Asuka, tweeted: “oh my….”

Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and SKY) and Asuka, Bianca Belair, and Alexa Bliss have been feuding since SummerSlam. However, Asuka and SKY have yet to face off in a one-on-one encounter in WWE, a match that many fans have been anticipating. In tag team and six-woman action, the two have faced off numerous times.

SKY and Dakota Kai won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at Crown Jewel last weekend, after losing them to Asuka and Bliss five days earlier on the October 31st edition of WWE Raw.
