Renee Paquette was part of the WWE family for eight years until she left the company back in 2020. She parted ways with the company after FOX’s WWE Backstage show was cancelled. After waiting for over two years, Paquette debuted in AEW and now Tony Schiavone wants her to succeed in the company.

AEW fans saw Renee Paquette make her shocking debut last month. Fans and pro wrestlers alike were glad to see the former WWE personality in AEW, even though she wasn’t sure how they would react to her.

Renee Paquette has been a regular feature on AEW programming since then, and fans are truly happy for her. While speaking during an AdFreeShows episode of Ask Tony Anything, Tony Schiavone made it clear that he hopes AEW does more with Renee Paquette.

“She’s wonderful, she’s such a pro, she is so good on camera at what she does and it prevents me from running backstage 100 times now too. I’m just really really thrilled about us having her, and hopefully we use her more. I know she did some commentary for the WWE back then, and she was really in a tough spot, she was the third person.”

“A three-man booth is not easy and then adding a fourth as we do on Rampage is even harder, so I thought she was in a tough spot there. She’s just so great to work with, she looks so great on camera, she’s so cool, one of our best hires in a long long time, really is.”

We will have to wait and see how Renee Paquette will fare in AEW. Needless to say, fans have high expectations from her and so far, she has been living up to them. She seems to be having a good time so far, and that is all that matters as well.
