The two were involved in a tense verbal exchange that was caught on WWE Digital Exclusive before Raw tonight. Shelton Benjamin confronted Theory while he was bragging about his momentum.

Shelton Benjamin teamed up with R-Truth during a previous episode of WWE Main Event. The duo squared off against Von Wagner and Duke Hudson during the show that was taped on October 31, 2022.
