Sammy Guevara is one of the fastest rising superstars in AEW, and he is set to battle The American Dragon Bryan Danielson on this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. The show will emanate from Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. The highly anticipated match will be contested in a 2-out-of-3 falls stipulation. This is something The Spanish God predicted years ago.

Sammy Guevara has made a name for himself in the wrestling world during his tenure in AEW, for his onscreen partnership with his real life wife Tay Conti as well as reigning as the AEW TNT Champion on three separate occasions battling the likes of Cody Rhodes, Scorpio Sky and Shawn Spears.

Sammy posted on Twitter about his impending match with Danielson, claiming that he has been looking to score a victory over Bryan for eight years, ever since he witnessed The American Dragon win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 30.

“2014 I was living at my mom’s, working the Indys & working at Subway. I saw Bryan win the World title & I told myself one day I’m not only going to wrestle him but I’m going to beat him. 8 years later & we got a chance. Love me or hate me, I always give it my all #NeverGiveUp”

Guevara is currently a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society along with Tay Conti led by Chris Jericho, while Danielson represents The Black Pool Combat Club joined by Eddie Kingston, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and William Regal. The match will take place on the November 9th edition of Wednesday Night AEW Dynamite. Only time will tell if Guevara makes history by pulling off some very long-term booking.
