Drew McIntyre Worked WWE Crown Jewel While Being ‘Extremely Sick’

Drew McIntyre is currently one of the top Superstars in WWE and has garnered a huge fan following thanks to his passion for the business. He has won various titles in WWE and the sky is the limit for him. McIntyre also had a solid match with Karrion Kross at Crown Jewel, but he was sick for the entire duration.

At the WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, Drew McIntyre squared off against Karrion Kross in a steel cage match. It was a very physical affair and featured Scarlett throwing pepper spray at McIntyre as well.

In the end, Drew McIntyre managed to escape the cage and won the match. According to a report by PW Insider going into the show, McIntyre was “extremely sick” over the last several days before heading into the event.

McIntyre “gutted” through his cage match, and was said to be “adamant” that the match proceed as planned despite his illness. McIntyre also made it clear that he hs done with Kross for good, so we’ll have to see what’s next in store for him.
