Ric Flair is widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. The Nature Boy is a controversial figure in the history of the business as well. The controversy surrounding Flair and The Plane Ride From Hell put him on the brink of cancellation.

WWE responded by removing him from their opening intro and then putting it back. Tonight, the promotion once again removed Flair’s iconic “Wooooo.” Fans noticed that WWE’s intro before Crown Jewel didn’t include Flair’s signature catchphrase.

WWE previously removed Ric Flair from their intro following the release of Dark Side of The Ring’s Plane Ride from Hell episode. Flair was dragged for exposing himself to a female crew member on the plane. Both parties settled the matter out of court.

Flair hasn’t been on the best of terms with WWE for quite some time. The 16-time World Champion has also claimed he and Triple H no longer talk to each other. Keep reading Ringside News for more.
